Day Fourteen

This week so far

sunny 23 °C

So I know its been a few days, sorry about slacking off a bit. But really I'm not slacking, I've been at either a play or studying, since this is the week that my lovely teachers decided to make everything due. Saturday was spent wondering around Piccadellie circus and Leicester Square. We actually went to a movie called Wild Target, staring Rupert Grit and Emily Blunt. It was hilarious, however the movie experience is somewhat different than back at home. The theatre for one had all of four rows of chairs, maybe fitting 50ish people. It was very small and something that kind of took some getting use too. We made it to the Marble Arch, which is right next to speakers corner, where there were no speakers! It happened to by the Hard Rock Concert last weekend, which limited the access to Hyde Park.
Sunday was not as entertaining. Lots of studying and watched the England soccer match, which was extremely disappointing.
Monday I joined my teacher and some of my other classmates early in the Morning to reflect on a William Wordsworth poem, Composed Upon Westminster Bridge. The poem talks about the calm and beauty of London, while we didn't get the entire feel of it due to the sound of the traffic, it was very neat to be there early in the morning.

After walking around Westminster Bridge, we had a tour of Parliament. We had to go through pretty intense security, involving pictures and metal detectors. After the wait, we walked all around The Palace of Westminster. We saw the House of Commons and the House of Lords.
That night we attended Les Miserables! I had never seen it and I really enjoyed it! It just so happened that Nick Jonas was one of the main characters of the performance, which was quite interesting. He actually did much better than I thought he would.

The rest of this week has been studying and plays. I had a test today and I have the GWR and a Humanities test tomorrow. I have another play Tomorrow as well. But then this weekend I am off to PARIS!! Excitement!
