Day Three
Bus Tour and Walking Tour
19.06.2010 - 19.06.2010
17 °C
This morning we were picked up by a coach and drove all around London. We had a lovely older lady commenting on all the famous spots in London. We saw everything from Parliament to the City and the Globe. It was great to see it all in one shot as a kind of teaser of what we can go look at!

We stopped at St. Paul's Cathedral. The Cathedral was designed by Sir Christopher Wren and has been host to significant events such as the wedding between Charles and Diana.

We went on a walking tour through the extended parts of Kensington. We started in Kensington Gardens at the Albert Memorial which was placed in the Garden by Queen Victoria after his death of Typhoid.
We walked by Kensington Palace, which was home to William III and Mary.

We aslo saw some of the famous Kensington residences' homes.
After the tour we walked around some of the shops in Kensington and then got dinner at another Italian restaurant down the street from our apartment.
